how a market settles
one byte on chain decides it.
the program reads the coin's pump.fun bonding curve account and checks one flag, complete. no oracle, and no admin step: once the flag flips, anyone can call mark and yes wins, as long as it lands before the deadline. after the deadline, anyone can call expire and no wins.
example
$FROG sits at 40% of its curve. the market has 1.2 sol on yes and 3.6 sol on no. you put 1 sol on yes.
if yes wins
1 + 3.6 × 0.98 / 2.2 ≈ 2.6 sol backif no wins

rules
the whole rulebook
short on purpose. every market runs on the same rules.
- markets
- anyone can open one on a pump.fun coin whose curve is not complete yet. a coin can have several markets. the opener pays the market account's rent, about 0.002 sol, and it is not refunded
- deadline
- 1h, 6h or 24h from the moment the market opens. one per market, picked when it opens
- bets
- sol on yes or no, 0.01 sol minimum per bet. parimutuel: a yes pool and a no pool. no house side, no order book. betting stops at the deadline or the moment the curve completes, whichever comes first. your first bet in a market also pays about 0.0015 sol of rent for your bet account, returned when you claim
- yes wins
- the curve's complete flag is true and anyone calls mark before the deadline
- no wins
- the deadline passes without a mark, even if the curve completed and nobody marked in time. anyone can then call expire
- payout
- each winner claims their own bet back plus a pro rata share of the losing pool, minus the fee. nothing is sent automatically. if one side is empty, everyone claims their bet back with no fee
- claims
- claim within 30 days of the market being marked or expired. after that, anyone can sweep whatever is still in the market to the house, unclaimed payouts and rounding dust included, and those payouts are gone
- fee
- 2% of what each winner takes from the losing pool, sent to the house when that winner claims. never taken from your own stake
- pools
- bets sit in the market's own account. the only ways out are claims and the 30-day sweep
- oracle
- none. the program reads the coin's pump.fun curve account itself and checks that it is the real one
- house
- the admin key can withdraw what the house holds, fees and swept leftovers, to any address, and can hand the admin role to another key. no instruction lets it touch a market or a pool
- upgrades
- when it ships, the program stays upgradeable by the deploy key while it's tested. that key could change any rule on this page, pools included, and this page will say so until the upgrade key is burned
